FAQ

Questions, answered

What does women only mean at Define?

Every class, private session and event at Define is for women. You will never share the room with anyone who makes you self-conscious, and that is the whole point of the space.

What is the Defined series?

Defined classes are our signature strength training programs: UpperBody, LowerBody and FullBody. Each runs as a 10 to 12 week progressive program, and your coach tracks your progress in class so every session builds on the last. They are open to all levels.

I have never lifted before. Where do I start?

Defined classes are built for all levels, so you can start with any of them. Coaches teach the foundational lifts and help you with your form. If you want to try something different first, Boxing Conditioning is beginner-friendly and needs no experience.

What is the difference between the Defined classes?

UpperBody focuses on your back, arms and upper-body definition. LowerBody focuses on your legs and glutes. FullBody trains both in one session. Choose the focus that matches your goal.

What should I wear and bring?

Wear comfortable clothing you can move in. Bring water and a towel. Mats are provided, and grip socks are recommended for Pilates but not required.

How do I book a class?

Classes, memberships and private sessions are booked through our Arketa booking page and app. Every Book button on this site goes straight there.

Can I try a class before I buy a membership?

Yes. Use the Book now button to pick a single class, or look at intro options on the memberships page.

I am pregnant or postpartum. Can I train at Define?

Many women train through pregnancy and postpartum. Please check with your healthcare provider first, and start with a private session so your coach can tailor the movements.

What is the difference between a class and private training?

Classes are small groups led by a coach. Private sessions are one-on-one, with personal training or Pilates chair work built around your body and goals, and they are a good fit if you have an injury or a specific target.

What is your cancellation policy?

The details appear when you book in Arketa, so you always see the current policy before you confirm.

Can I host a private event at the studio?

Yes. Birthdays, bridal parties, friend groups and women’s teams are all welcome. Send a request through the private events page.
